Slim Thug, L.E.$. & Young Von “Mercy (Remix)”

Houston just doesn’t give a fuck. Oh Kanye, you just put your video out? Oh well, me and some friends rocked to your beat and decided to grab a camera and some cars and shoot our own version. Cool?

Slim Thug, L.E.$. and Young Von easily handle this beat really talking about nothing but doing it with so much finesse it doesn’t even matter. And every single one of them flows better than any of the guys did on the original. Shouts out to Young Von, 19 on this track and he takes the break down like a professional – Kanye should get a clue.

It’s an interesting scenario Slim Thug finds himself in, having survived major label life and the fall from garnering national hits to being back in Houston, granted his boss status their has to be firmly cemented. This feels like it could be taken as a back hand to the Good crew, but then perhaps Thugga just has it like that and gets the pass? This will never reach the majority of the crowd Kanye is selling to. Either way I’m intrigued and would have to say that the Hogg’s would make quick work out of Kanye and posse.
