Computer Jay “Savage Planet Discotheque”

With a name like this I guess I should have been prepared for the ear shredding synths that are present here. Damn Jay! While walking a fine line with what some might find unpleasant and maybe even repulsively nasty funk this right here is a jam to let seep into your skull. Play it as loud as possible and hopefully on a sunny day while outside. If not a dark apartment late a night will suffice.

He recruits Sa-Ra Creative Partner Shafiq Husayn along with Jimetta Rose to assit in the breakdown of musical landscapes.

Dam Funk’s running partner is getting ready to release his own series of EPs, dropping on his own label dubbed Weird Science. There is some weird science behind this funk revolution taking place in 2012 and I’m not fighting it. Volume One of Computer Jay’s Savage Planet Discotheque exploration will impact July 31st.
